Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) - Days - 13 Week Contract

Schedule: 5x8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, from 08:00 AM to 04:30 PM.

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) with a minimum of 2 years of experience in oncology settings. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing a daily caseload of up to 70 patients, ensuring the highest level of care while maintaining strict adherence to radiation safety protocols and treatment standards.

Responsibilities:

• Administer chemotherapy and administer blood products as needed.
• Monitor and provide care to patients receiving external beam therapy and IMRT treatments.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and medication administration.
• Manage and handle body fluids post-chemotherapy with utmost care and safety.
• Utilize advanced imaging techniques such as CBCT, kV, and mV imaging as required.
• Ensure compliance with safety and procedural guidelines.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in an oncology setting.
• Current RN license in the state of practice; candidates with pending licenses may be accepted.
• Certifications required: BLS; ONC preferred.
• Experience with infusion center protocols and outpatient oncology is preferred.
• Clean nursing license with no prior suspensions; probation may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
