Special Loan Advisor

Position Summary The Specialty Loan Advisor (SLA) cultivates and maintains ongoing customer relationships within the Specialty Loan Division, primarily focused on a Business Purpose Loan portfolio. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Maintain a portfolio of Business Purpose Loans by providing consistent and optimal support to external and internal customers regarding loan servicing. Cultivate and sustain ongoing customer relationships by offering advisory support tailored to each client’s business needs. Receive inbound calls, make outbound calls, and provide email and text support to clients, attorneys, business administration, and authorized parties to achieve 100% customer satisfaction. Perform moderately complex administrative, transactional, and operational tasks, including analyzing requests and preparing documentation. Generate reports and analyze data to identify strategic initiatives that maximize customer satisfaction and results. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and investor requirements. Leverage available resources and technologies to deliver operational excellence and accuracy. Achieve production goals (KPIs) set by management. Qualifications 3‑5 years of direct or related experience in each of the following areas: Working knowledge of Business Purpose Loans. Extensive understanding of escrow, escrow analysis, payment histories, billing, and 1098 statements. Expansive knowledge of cross‑collateralized servicing and partial lien release. Comprehensive understanding of property preservation, code violation resolution, and hazard claim resolution. Excellent attention to detail, analytical and resolution skills, sound judgment. Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and maintain organization. Excellent verbal and written professional communication skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Education & Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred; two to four years of related experience and/or training required. Computer Skills Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive, Outlook). Previous experience with MSP, Black Knight/LPS, and Sagent preferred. Travel Some travel may be required.
