Job Summary:
HireCare Services — Massachusetts is seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team! As a COTA, you will work under the supervision of an occupational therapist to provide high-quality patient care, promote independence, and support individuals in regaining their daily living skills. Responsibilities:
Assist occupational therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients with various physical, cognitive, and sensory disabilities
Conduct occupational therapy interventions, such as exercises, activities, and adaptive equipment training
Monitor and document patient progress, identifying areas for improvement and modifying treatment plans as needed
Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and caregivers to ensure comprehensive patient care
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols
Requirements:
Associate's degree in occupational therapy assistant studies or related field
Minimum of 0 years of experience (new graduates welcome to apply!)
Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
