Nurse Practitioner - NP Primary Care

Responsibilities Provide primary and family evidence‑based care inclusive of accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning for patients. Provide administrative duties including opening/closing the clinic, inventory, patient follow‑up, verifying insurance and collecting payment, maintaining a clean environment. Handle patient appointments and perform routing examinations to ensure positive patient health outcomes. Speak with patients about healthy lifestyle choices, complete diagnostic tests to diagnose and treat injuries or illnesses, and coordinate with other healthcare professionals to maintain a comprehensive plan of care. Encourage patients to become active participants in their own healthcare and well‑being through services such as health screenings, behavioral health and wellness, chronic condition management. Complete patient charting and follow‑up during the shift, without taking work home. Qualifications Active Family Nurse Practitioner license in good standing. Evidence‑based care experience inclusive of pregnancy prevention, STI prevention, and safer sex practices. Order and administer immunizations and injections, including COVID‑19, influenza, TB, Depo, and provide vaccine counseling. Minimum of two years of medically relevant experience or equivalent. Complete the DOT certification exam within 30 days of employment. Proficiency in speaking and writing additional languages, with Spanish preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification including CPR and AED operation. Pass a FIT test and wear the provided respirator mask when required. EPIC experience preferred. Education Master’s Degree level Family Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role. Schedule Anticipated Weekly Hours: 40 Time Type: Full time Pay and Benefits Pay Range: $41.85 - $90.13 per hour (base hourly rate or full‑time salary; actual offer dependent on experience, education, geography, etc.).
