Manufacturing Materials SpecialistCSI is hiring for a Manufacturing Materials Specialist at our Springfield, MO location. We offer an excellent benefits and compensation package.The Manufacturing Material Specialist duties include:Primary Functions:Check in and receive all types of material per procedureReceive and document lot tracked material per procedurePut away parts and stage job material in appropriate work cell or staging areaClear off and clean up receiving dock at the end of each work dayLoading and unloading trucksCollect, capture, maintain and scan all documentation per procedureJob Material Management:Retrieve issued job material from staging area and take to point of usePick inventory and take to point of useCleaning of parts for manufacturingAssisting manufacturing commensurate with skillWelding, Polishing, Machining, Inspection of productProcess job return check inCommunicate with Project Managers, Shop Supervisors and Coordination when discrepancies are noticed or questions ariseWork in a manner consistent with safety principles and procedures established by CSIOutbound:Assemble and disassemble parts and equipmentPackage products for safe and secure shipmentCrating, bagging, shrink wrapping, etc.Communicate with Project Managers, Shop Supervisors, Coordination and Logistics team to ship correct product for on time delivery to customerShip parcels, LTL and truckload shipments per procedureMake local pickup/ deliveries to support both Fabrication and Distribution activitiesGeneral:Cycle count inventory per scheduleAssist with cleanup of manufacturing area, buildings, grounds, and vehiclesThis may include removal of cardboard, pallets, and trash from shopLocal pick-up and delivery of vehiclesRemoval of metal chip barrelsComplete assigned product, process, safety, and systems training in person, via CORE and ELCSupport Distribution Center activities, as neededAbout our Company: CSI offers 40 years of experience providing state-of-the-art stainless steel process equipment and service for the food, dairy, beverage, pharmaceutical, and personal care industries. The employee must be able to operate a computer and other office productivity equipment, such as a phone, copy/fax/scan machine, computer keyboard and mouse with or without reasonable accommodation. The employee must also frequently lift and/or move items up to 75 pounds with assistance. Visual acuity is required to perform work using close, distance, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The employee may be exposed to environmental factors typical of a warehouse.
