Certified Nurse Assistant

Role Overview The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides home care services to patients in their residences, focusing on personal hygiene , mobility assistance , basic nursing care , and light housekeeping . Key Responsibilities Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and mouth care. Support transfers, repositioning, and ambulation. Follow prescribed exercises and care plans provided by healthcare professionals. Prepare meals considering client preferences and dietary needs. Offer companionship and engage clients in activities based on their interests. Maintain accurate records of care provided and report changes in client conditions. Use EVV systems to document tasks and adhere to client confidentiality. Demonstrate dependability, flexibility, and respect for clients' values. Qualifications & Skills Maintain certification with DFS. High school diploma or GED preferred. Effective communication skills. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and standing. Possess a sympathetic attitude towards patient care. Additional Notes The role involves physical demands such as lifting approximately 50 lbs, and requires travel within the designated area .
