My client is seeking a highly motivated IT Specialist to provide technical support, maintain IT infrastructure, and ensure reliable operation of business-critical systems across corporate and project environments. The IT Specialist will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware, software, network, and user-related issues while supporting cybersecurity, system administration, and technology deployment initiatives.




This position requires strong technical aptitude, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical personnel in a fast-paced environment.




Key Responsibilities

• Provide first- and second-level technical support for desktop, laptop, mobile device, and peripheral-related issues.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows-based operating systems, software applications, and hardware.
• Support Microsoft 365 services, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
• Manage user accounts, access permissions, password resets, and security group memberships.
• Assist with network troubleshooting, including connectivity, wireless, VPN, and printer-related issues.
• Monitor and maintain IT equipment inventory and asset tracking records.
• Respond to service requests and incidents through the organization's ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution and accurate documentation.
• Support deployment of new hardware, software, and infrastructure upgrades.
• Assist with cybersecurity initiatives, including endpoint protection, vulnerability remediation, and user security awareness.
• Perform system configuration, software testing, patch management, and routine maintenance activities.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and knowledge-base articles.
• Coordinate with vendors, internal IT teams, and project personnel to resolve technical issues and implement solutions.
• Support project site technology requirements, including workstation deployment, network connectivity, and communication systems.
• Ensure compliance with company IT policies, standards, and security requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in IT support, system administration, help desk, or technical support environments.
• Experience supporting Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, user account management, and access control processes.
• Familiarity with networking fundamentals, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies.
• Experience using ticket management and service desk systems.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

• CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft, or other relevant certifications.
• Experience supporting industrial, engineering, construction, manufacturing, or project-based environments.
• Exposure to cybersecurity best practices and endpoint security tools.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies, virtualization, and enterprise infrastructure.
• Experience with IT asset management and software deployment tools.
