Job Description

*We are currently offering a $15k sign-on bonus to certified law enforcement candidates, paid in four increments over three years, and a $10k sign-on bonus to all other candidates, paid in four increments over three years.

The Berlin Police Department has immediate openings for full-time Patrol Officers. Located in the heart of the White Mountains in Northern New Hampshire, we are a small but active agency that values training, positive community engagement, and proactive policing.

Patrol pay scale ranges from $30.50-$38.00/hr. based on experience, plus contractual bonuses, incentives, and paid holidays.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age
High School Diploma

Disqualifiers included

Use of marijuana within 12 months of application.
Use of unprescribed controlled substances other than marijuana within 36 months of application.
Any past incident of selling controlled substances, including marijuana.
