Line Cook — JavaMoon Rises

Location: Millstone, NJ
Pay: $15.92–$23.00 per hour
Experience: Minimum 1 year of professional kitchen/line cook experience

About the Position

JavaMoon Rises is looking for a dependable and motivated Line Cook to join our kitchen team in Millstone, NJ. The ideal candidate takes pride in preparing quality food, maintaining a clean and organized station, and working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
• Set up, stock, and maintain an assigned kitchen station
• Ensure food is prepared accurately, consistently, and in a timely manner
• Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workstation
• Work closely with other kitchen team members to ensure smooth service
• Assist with food preparation, kitchen organization, and inventory as needed
• Follow all kitchen procedures and instructions

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of professional line cook or kitchen experience required
• Culinary school experience or formal culinary training preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality
• Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and food safety procedures
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the shift
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform the physical duties of a kitchen position
