Doctor of Medicine | Emergency Medicine Location: Dyersville, IA Employer: Wellhart, LLC Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: 10/19/2026 About the Position Our client in Iowa is seeking a Physician specializing in Emergency Medicine for a 60-day assignment beginning May 26, 2026. This role involves in-house coverage with 24-hour shifts (7a-7a), occasionally 12-hour, focusing on an average of 4 ED patients daily. Responsibilities include suturing, wound care, incision & draining, and splinting. Responsibilities and Duties Provide in-house emergency department coverage (provider sleep room available). Manage an average of 4 ED patients per day. Perform emergency medicine duties including suturing, wound care, incision & draining, and splinting. Address a wide range of outpatient services, including laboratory, radiology, rehabilitation services, infusion service, and ambulatory surgery. Additional Information Board Certification in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine is required. The Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system utilized is Epic.
