Full-Time Lead Threes and Pre-K Teachers - NAEYC Accredited Preschool We are NAEYC accredited and a 4-Star Texas Rising Star preschool located in Southwest Austin serving children infants through Pre-K. As an established non-profit preschool, our primary focus is on children, families, and staff. Lead Teacher is a full-time, exempt, year-round position. Lead Teachers work Monday-Friday, 7:00am - 3:00pm. Have a strong desire to work collaboratively with a talented team of diverse teachers and administrators Have strong classroom management skills Have experience managing others and being a team player Duties Include: Collaborating with other Teachers and Education Directors to implement an engaging and developmentally appropriate curriculum that follows the standards for the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), Texas Rising Star, and Texas Pre-K and Kindergarten guidelines Managing and supporting the Assistant Teachers in the classroom through collaboration, modeling, and frequent communication Complete developmentally appropriate assessments of each child Communication with families, both verbal and written Building positive relationships with parents and coworkers Maintaining the confidentiality of all staff, children, and families Demonstrating respect for diverse families and cultures Being physically active to monitor and participate in children's games and movement activities Individualizing for each child Ensuring compliance with all licensing regulations and standards Qualifications: Required: Minimum of 1+ years of lead classroom teaching experience Required: Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or EC Special Education Candidates must meet all TDFPS and THHSC requirements and must pass state and national background checks.
