Tech - Echo/Ultrasound/Sonographer

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced ultrasound technologist for a fast-paced hospital unit providing comprehensive imaging services. The role involves performing a broad range of ultrasound procedures for diverse patient populations, ensuring high-quality diagnostic imaging.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general, vascular, and OB-GYN sonographic examinations utilizing Siemens Acuson S200 and GE Logiq E10 equipment.
• Recognize normal vs. abnormal findings through detailed imaging and assist in clinical assessments.
• Maintain accurate documentation within AllScripts EMR and PACS InteleRad systems.
• Collaborate effectively with medical staff, follow departmental protocols, and ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Demonstrate proficiency in complex procedures such as FNAs, drainages, and intraoperative ultrasound applications.
• Adhere to all licensing, certification, and hospital policies, including safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold an NH sonography license and RDMS certification prior to submission.
• Possess at least one year of clinical ultrasound experience, including general, vascular, and OB-GYN procedures.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of anatomy, pathology, and sonographic physics.
• Show ability to recognize normal vs. abnormal ultrasound findings.
• Be a motivated, team-oriented individual with excellent communication skills.
• Certification in BLS required; additional credentials like RVT, AB are a plus.
