Operations Training Coordinator

The Operations Training Coordinator supports training programs for GMP-facing teams, including Manufacturing, Quality, Safety, Maintenance, and Supply Chain. This role is responsible for coordinating, administering, and improving training processes to ensure employees have the knowledge and skills needed to perform their roles safely, effectively, and in compliance with company and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience in a GMP environment, strong organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with operational teams, subject matter experts, and leadership. Key Responsibilities Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for Operations and GMP-related on-the-job training (OJT) programs. Coordinate and maintain OJT training programs, schedules, materials, and documentation to ensure compliance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP). Partner with supervisors, trainers, and department leaders to identify training needs, close skill gaps, and improve training effectiveness. Support the development, review, and updating of training materials, job aids, SOPs, work instructions, and training plans. Facilitate Train-the-Trainer (TTT) sessions and support trainer qualification programs. Conduct training reviews and floor observations to evaluate effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement. Assist with new hire training, cGMP refresher training, employee orientation, and other learning initiatives. Monitor training completion metrics, maintain employee training records, and support LMS administration. Generate training reports and assist with compliance tracking to ensure timely completion of required training. Collaborate with Operations and GMP teams to troubleshoot training-related issues and implement solutions. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, Gemba walks, and other operational support activities. Administrative Responsibilities Maintain training records, employee files, curricula, assignments, and LMS data. Create, assign, and track training activities and surveys. Support department initiatives such as training communications, learning events, newsletters, and engagement programs. Assist with the creation of training resources and process improvements. Qualifications 2+ years of experience in a pharmaceutical, dietary supplement, food manufacturing, or other regulated industry required. Experience working in a cGMP environment with knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance practices. Experience supporting operations, training, quality, or similar functions preferred. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments. Comfortable facilitating training sessions for both small and large groups. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) preferred. Education & Experience A bachelor’s degree in supply chain, training, communications, business, or a related field is preferred but not required.
