Advanced Oral Surgery is an established oral surgery practice located in San Antonio, TX . We are seeking an experienced Surgical Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our growing team full-time, Monday-Friday!

Who You Are:

A Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) with1 or more years of experience working in oral surgery
A team player that is reliable, detail oriented, and eager to learn and grow within a team
Someone who is committed to providing exceptional patient care and desires to make a difference

Schedule: Monday-Friday

Monday, Wednesday, Thursday: 7:30am-5pm
Tuesday: 7:30am-2pm
Friday: 7:30am-1pm or 7:30am-2pm

Compensation: $22-$25/hr, plus monthly bonus opportunities based on performance

Responsibilities:

Take diagnostic x-rays and dental impressions
Collect consent forms for surgery and update patient health history
Record patient vital signs and document in their chart
Inform patients of pre-op and post-op instructions
Set up the surgical suite according to the planned procedure
Sterilize equipment and materials according to OSHA guidelines
Assist surgeon with general anesthesia and IV sedation procedures

Requirements:

Active Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) in the state of Texas
Active CPR/ACLS/BLS Certification
1+ years of experience as a surgical dental assistant
Must currently have or be willing to obtain certifications for IV placement and phlebotomy

USD $22.00 - USD $25.00 /Hr.
