Travel Nurse RN - Long Term Acute Care - $1,991 per week

GHR Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Long Term Acute Care for a travel nursing job in Wheeling, West Virginia. Job Details Location: Wheeling, WV 26003 Assignment Length: 13 weeks Setting: Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) Shift: 12-hour day shifts (3 shifts per week) Hours per Week: 36 Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,770 – $1,870 Employment Type: Travel Nurse / Travel assignment Start Date: ASAP Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (valid in state of practice or appropriate compact license) BLS Certification (required prior to first shift) ACLS Certification (required prior to first shift) Minimum of 2 years of bedside clinical experience Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills Ability to supervise and direct LPN/LVN, CNA, and orientees Experience in LTAC, complex care, or rehabilitation settings preferred but not required Responsibilities Perform comprehensive nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission and develop individualized care plans Provide direct patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation Participate in patient rehabilitation programs and interdisciplinary team conferences to support recovery goals Initiate discharge planning and patient/family teaching from the day of admission Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and in a timely manner Promote patient and staff safety by adhering to hospital safety policies and procedures Supervise and provide direction to ancillary nursing personnel and support staff Maintain effective communication with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care for medically complex patients Contribute positively to team building and a supportive work environment Identify and pursue opportunities for professional growth and development in LTAC and travel nursing Benefits Competitive weekly pay aligned with travel nurse compensation Experience working with a collaborative interdisciplinary LTAC team Opportunity to build LTAC and travel nursing skills in West Virginia Supportive environment focused on patient-centered care and professional development 401K with Matching, Healthcare, Dental and Vision Equal Opportunity Employer Statement We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity across our organization.
