Pharmacist in Newton, MA

A challenging opportunity is available for a licensed Pharmacist to support a large 300+ bed hospital located in Newton, MA. This position offers predominantly night shifts from 10 PM to 8 AM, making it ideal for candidates seeking evening hours. The role begins as soon as possible and extends for at least 13 weeks, with the possibility to transition into a permanent position.


Responsibilities:

• Oversee medication dispensing and administration within the inpatient setting
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure safe, effective pharmacological care
• Monitor patient medication therapies and provide clinical interventions as needed
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements
• Participate in medication order reviews and documentation

Qualifications:

• Active Massachusetts Pharmacist license
• Recent graduates are welcome to apply
• Experience with inpatient pharmacy operations is preferred but not mandatory
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Schedule:

• Primarily night shifts, 10 PM to 8 AM
