Power Trip Rentals is a growing equipment rental company serving construction, events, film/TV, and utilities clients across Southern California and Las Vegas. We're looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team on graveyard shift, keeping our fleet running strong for the next day's jobs.
What You'll Do
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy equipment including aerial lifts, forklifts, generators, and other rental units
- Perform preventive maintenance and safety inspections
- Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Complete work orders and maintenance logs accurately
- Keep the shop clean, organized, and safe
- Coordinate with the day shift team on equipment status and priorities
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a heavy equipment or diesel mechanic
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and engine systems
- Ability to work independently on graveyard shift with minimal supervision
- Own tools preferred
- Valid driver's license
- Forklift certification a plus (or willingness to obtain)
- Reliable, safety-minded, and a team player
