Athletics Coordinator (FWS)

The Office of Student Engagement oversees community building programs, and seeks a student worker to support programming for commuter students. This position reports to the Associate Director for Recreation & Commuter Engagement. The New School was founded by forward-thinking educators in 1919 to defy the intellectual constraints of a traditional college education. Reporting to the Associate Director of Recreation & Commuter Engagement, the Athletics Coordinator will assist in keeping the athletic space and equipment usable, reservations, communications, and provide game day support for teams. RESPONSIBILITIES Support athletic spaces and equipment management to ensure space is tidy and equipment is usable. Answer and monitor the View email address on click.appcast.io email account Maintain space reservation policies in the fitness room. Assist in scheduling athletic games, including club sports and intramurals Provide game day support for teams. Provide social media and email newsletter support for athletics events Coordinate appearances with the Gnarls Squad.
