The job description outlines specific requirements and preferences for candidates in terms of skills, experience, licensure, certifications, and onboarding documentation: **Experience and Skills:** - High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) - Bilevel Positive Airway Pressure (BIPAP) - Stable Glucose Tolerance Test (GTT) Management - Experience with Postoperative Day 1 (POD#1) management for Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), Aortic Valve Replacement (AVR), and Mitral Valve Replacement (MVR) - Cardiovascular and Vascular experience - Experience with procedures such as Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA) repair, Lobectomy, Carotid Endarterectomy (CEA) - Management of conditions like Non-ST Elevation Myocardial Infarction (NSTEMI), ST Elevation Myocardial Infarction (STEMI), Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS) - Pacemaker management - Experience with Sepsis, Gastrointestinal Bleeding (GIB), Post Diabetic Ketoacidosis (DKA), Respiratory Failure, Tracheostomies - Work on a 30-bed Stepdown Unit and float within the Critical Care Service Line **Licensure and Certifications:** - Nursys - License/Certificate Verification **Onboarding and Health Requirements:** - Ascension core onboarding requirements, including various professional attestations and checklist/testings such as Ascension Specialty Exam, Ascension Core Competencies, Ascension EKG Exam, Ascension Unit Specific Checklist, Ascension Epic Test-Out - Personal health history requirements including MMR, Hepatitis B, Health Statement, Fit Test, 2 Step PPD or IGRA, Varicella, Tdap - Optional/conditional: Influenza Vaccine, Positive PPD with Negative Chest X-Ray and Annual TB Questionnaire **Professional Documentation:** - Ascension Profile - 2 Professional References - Criminal Background Check Results - Education Verification - Employment Verification - Confirmation of Assignment All documentation requirements for onboarding are specified for submission or internal processing, with some items marked optional.
