Johnson Hospital MRI Technologist - MRI - LBJ - FT Location: Houston, TX Pay Range: $37.17 - $48.34 per hour Day 1 Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Short- and Long-Term Disability Insurance 401(k) Retirement Plan with Employer Matching About the Position The MRI Technologist performs advanced diagnostic imaging to aid in patient evaluation and treatment. Responsibilities include operating MRI equipment, patient positioning, and ensuring safety protocols. This role involves working closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver quality patient care. Key Responsibilities Operate MRI scanners and related clinical equipment Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures Maintain accurate documentation of imaging procedures Communicate effectively with medical staff and patients Requirements Education: Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology program Certification: ARRT or ARMRIT certification in MRI; Basic Life Support (BLS) from AHA Experience: 2 years as a staff MRI Technologist preferred Skills: Analytical abilities, medical terminology, and strong communication About Harris Health System Harris Health System is a leading healthcare provider in Harris County, comprising two trauma hospitals, Ben Taub and Lyndon B.
