Emergency Room Technician

Perform assigned procedures including, but not limited to: electrocardiogram testing (EKG); wound cleansing; vital sign measurements; specimen collection; blood glucose testing Assist with patient exam and minor surgical procedures within scope of training Communicate effectively with patients and health care providers Accurately document information in patient records and implement clinical corrective actions Requirements High School Diploma or GED - Required BLS (American Heart Association) - Required Certified Nursing Assistant license or Arizona Certified Emergency Medical Technician- Required Previous Emergency Department experience - Preferred Understanding of computers and competence in using basic software programs.
