Research Technologist, Senior

Senior Research Technologist Lead, oversee, and independently set up and perform experiments and procedures in support of laboratory goals and grant commitments (e.g., assays, cell/tissue culture, animal studies, equipment planning and ordering, etc.). Contribute to planning, design, and modification of studies and experiments in the research lab setting. Collect, enter, summarize, and analyze experimental data for presentations at local, regional, national, and international meetings, as well as manuscripts and grant applications. Monitor results, report unusual outcomes/errors, and suggest modifications. Directly involved in preparation of manuscripts for publication in peer‑reviewed journals and/or in preparation of grant applications of interest to the laboratory. May oversee and assist with the training of residents, fellows, and temporary lab personnel in lab techniques. Perform advanced safety functions in the laboratory.
