Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PACU - Post Anesthesia Care Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, flexible Employment Type: Travel Travel PACU RN | Hawaii 13-Week Contract | Variable Shifts | Hilo, Hawaii We're hiring an experienced Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse for an exciting travel opportunity in Hilo, Hawaii. Join a dedicated surgical services team providing exceptional pre-op and post-anesthesia patient care. Requirements: • Active Hawaii RN License *(or apply upon offer acceptance; license required before start)* • Minimum 3 years of PACU experience or Critical Care (ICU/ER) experience • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA) • PACU, ICU, or ER background preferred • EPIC EMR experience preferred Assignment Details: • 13-week contract • Variable 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts • Days, Evenings, Nights, Weekends & Holidays as needed • No guaranteed hours or shift preference • On-call: 0–3 shifts per month • W-2 employment only (No 1099) Responsibilities: • Provide pre-operative, Phase I, and Phase II recovery care • Monitor patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures • Perform comprehensive patient assessments and interventions • Monitor vital signs, airway, pain management, and post-op complications • Administer medications and IV therapies safely • Operate Meditech, Pyxis, PCA pumps, Braun IV pumps, and patient monitoring equipment • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary teams • Maintain accurate patient documentation and ensure safe discharge planning CloudinfraIT Inc Job ID 298721.
