Prep Cook / Kitchen Assistant
McPherson Country Club is looking for a dependable Prep Cook/Kitchen Assistant to join our team. This position supports the kitchen by preparing ingredients, assisting with food preparation, and helping maintain a clean and organized kitchen. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a team environment and takes pride in quality food preparation.
Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients for service (chopping, slicing, portioning, etc.)
- Assist with basic food preparation and plating
- Maintain a clean and organized prep area
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist the cook with additional kitchen tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Kitchen or food prep experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weight
Schedule
- Part-time
- Evenings, weekends, and occasional club events
Work Environment McPherson Country Club is a private club offering dining, events, and golf to our members. Our kitchen team works closely together to provide a great dining experience in a positive and supportive environment.
