Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant COTA

We are looking for a talented Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team for the school year. Hourly Rate Range: $35.00-$46.00 per hour Responsibilities would include: Provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT). Assist in implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and therapy plans to support student learning, participation, and independence. Work with students on fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, visual‑motor integration, and classroom participation. Support students in developing functional and adaptive skills to enhance success in the school environment. Collaborate with teachers, Occupational Therapists, special education staff, and families to integrate therapy strategies into the classroom. Assist with data collection, documentation, and progress monitoring to evaluate student progress toward therapy goals. Recommend and help implement adaptive equipment, assistive technology, and environmental modifications as directed by the supervising Occupational Therapist. Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with Indiana Department of Education (IDOE) guidelines and IDEA requirements. Required Qualifications: Associate's Degree in Occupational Therapy Assisting from an accredited program. Current Indiana Occupational Therapy Assistant License issued by the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency (IPLA), or eligibility to obtain licensure prior to the start of employment. Supervised fieldwork experience in a pediatric, school‑based, or related setting preferred. Fingerprint clearance and background check required.
