Maintenance TechnicianThe Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the proper operation, setup, and maintenance of packaging equipment in a structured cGMP environment. This role requires strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, as well as the ability to support production efficiency and quality standards.Key Responsibilities:Set up, operate, and maintain packaging machineryTroubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment issuesPerform electrical wiring and diagnostics as neededAssist with vision systems operation and troubleshootingSupport PLC troubleshooting (as applicable)Conduct routine maintenance and preventative maintenance tasksEnsure compliance with cGMP standards and safety regulationsAccurately read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and instructionsCollaborate with production teams to minimize downtimeMaintain a clean and organized work environmentQualifications:Maintenance experience required; pharmaceutical or food industry experience preferredStrong setup skills for packaging machines (required)Electrical wiring knowledge with troubleshooting abilityExperience with vision systems preferredPLC troubleshooting experience a plusMechanical aptitude or relevant technical courseworkStrong math and reading comprehension skillsAbility to work effectively in a structured, regulated (cGMP) environmentStrong work ethic and reliabilityFlexibility to work overtime as neededHigh school diploma or GED requiredCompensation & Schedule:Pay: Starting at $22–$23 per hour, based on experience and skill set1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 2:25 PM – 12:55 AMTraining & Development:Training will be conducted on 1st shiftAfter successful completion of training, flexible shift assignment (1st or 2nd shift) will be availableHighly trainable recent graduates (e.g., technical schools such as Blackhawk Technical College) are encouraged to apply
