Industrial Maintenance Electrician

Electric Maintenance TechnicianOur customer operates a major manufacturing plant in a fast-paced, industrial production setting. This position is responsible for ensuring the reliability of key equipment, electrical systems, and automation systems to maintain safe and efficient operations.The Electric Maintenance Technician conducts both scheduled and unscheduled electrical maintenance to support equipment within the facility, including automation systems and electrical distribution. This role involves hands-on work with high-speed production machinery, troubleshooting controls and instruments, repairing electro-mechanical systems, and maintaining electrical systems up to 4160V. The ideal candidate should have solid experience in industrial electrical maintenance, the ability to interpret drawings and schematics, and be comfortable working a rotating 12-hour schedule.Roles and Responsibilities:Execute scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on equipment, electrical systems, and related machineryMaintain automation equipment, tools, and machinery to specified standardsInstall, troubleshoot, and repair electrical equipment and distribution systems up to 4160VTroubleshoot and repair PLCs and HMIsUtilize electrical testing equipment such as multi-meters, thermal imaging cameras, and meggersRepair electrical, electro-mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic circuitsTroubleshoot control loops and motor controls including magnetic and electronic controlsAdhere to all safety protocols and maintain clean work areasRequirements:At least 3 years of electrical maintenance experience, preferably in a large-scale industrial environmentSolid understanding of AC and DC controlsExperience with VSDs and VFDsAbility to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic drawingsFamiliarity with instrumentation like pressure transmitters and RTDsPreferred experience with SAP, Siemens PCS-7 (or similar), and Profibus communication protocolStrong communication skills and a collaborative mindsetWillingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including weekends and holidaysProficient in English (written and verbal)Benefits:Why choose this employer?Hourly pay: $40–$48Full-time role with guaranteed hours, potential for overtime, and job security3- or 4-day work week on a rotating 12-hour scheduleProfit sharing distributed 3 times annually$1/hr shift differential for night and weekend shiftsTool allowance providedWellness program reimbursementRetirement benefits availableSchedule/Hours: Day shifts for 3-4 days one week (7:00am–7:00pm) followed by night shifts the next week (7:00pm–7:00am) on a rotating schedule.
