Academy Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Description Full-Time | 8:00am to 4:30pm | Monday–Friday | No weekends or holidays Join a team where your nursing skills make a lasting impact. BHA Academy is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support student health and wellness in our school-based setting. This role is ideal for an LPN who enjoys working with children, values teamwork, and wants a consistent weekday schedule while making a meaningful difference. You’ll provide direct nursing support to students, oversee medication administration, and partner closely with our Academy staff and supervising RN to help students stay safe, healthy, and ready to learn each day. What You’ll Do Administer medications and maintain accurate medication records Provide routine nursing care and first aid during the school day Monitor students with medical needs and respond to urgent health concerns Support medication audits, inventory, and compliance Collaborate with staff, clinicians, families, and the supervising RN Maintain timely documentation and confidentiality Help create a safe, supportive environment for student success Qualifications Required: Active Missouri LPN license CPR/First Aid certification Ability to work under RN/physician supervision Preferred: 1+ year of nursing experience Experience in pediatrics, school nursing, behavioral health, or special education Medication administration/documentation experience What We’re Looking For Compassionate and student-centered Calm and confident in medical situations Organized with strong attention to detail Dependable team player with excellent communication skills Why Join BHA Academy?
