Job Description:
We are seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide comprehensive care to pediatric patients. The therapist will manage critical care ventilators, administer respiratory therapies, and support respiratory disease management in a specialized setting.
Responsibilities:
- Manage critical care ventilators and provide NIV (CPAP/BIPAP/HHFNC).
- Implement respiratory disease management and deliver medications for pediatric patients.
- Provide care for PICU patients undergoing cardiac procedures.
- Utilize specialized gases and support ECMO programs as needed.
- Float between ER, MedSurg, Oncology, and PICU as required.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of PICU experience within the last 5 years.
- Current BLS, PALS, RRT certifications, and WA state license.
- Experience with EMR systems, specifically EPIC.
- Ability to work every other weekend; no on-call duties.
