Job Posting Nursing Team Opportunities at IU Health Position Clinical Nurse – Resource Location Various locations across IU Health facilities (Level 1 trauma centers, suburban settings, critical access centers) Description The Clinical Nurse Resource serves as a vital member of the Indiana University Health system float pool, embodying the mission, vision, and values of IU Health. Accountable for the provision and coordination of competent, evidence‑based care across the continuum – from assessment and diagnosis to outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Actively participates in clinical decision‑making, teaching, mentoring, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to advance patient care plans, achieve optimal outcomes, and enhance operational efficiency. Requires an active Registered Nurse license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN License. Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. 2 years of experience preferred. Exceptions: Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of acute care experience. Such exceptions are subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO). Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA. Other Advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies. Requires incumbent to be highly adaptable, confident, and skilled in managing change. Experienced in multiple specialties or eager to broaden clinical scope required.
