Job Summary:
The organization is seeking qualified Registered Nurses (RNs) for a Critical Care Unit (ICU) position located in Morgantown, West Virginia. The role involves providing specialized critical care to patients with complex neurological and other acute conditions. Candidates are required to bring their licensure on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Position: ICU Registered Nurse
• Location: Morgantown, West Virginia
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with scheduled weekends and holidays as needed
• Schedule: 36 hours per week with weekend (Saturday/Sunday) and holiday shifts as scheduled
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license (willing to wait for licensure), BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale), minimum of 2 years ICU or critical care experience, and proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records
• Additional Information: Immunization against COVID-19 (moderna, Pfizer, or J&J) is required; candidates must not be a previous permanent employee within the past two years or a traveler within the past year; drivers' license address must be outside 50 miles from the facility; submission is limited to two candidates per opening; submission guidelines and exemption procedures apply.
• Patient Population & Unit Details: Care includes patients with stroke, dialysis, head bleeds, ventric/evd, and other neuro and critical care disorders. The unit has 20 beds, a nurse-to-patient ratio of 2:1, and 24/7 respiratory therapy support, including vents and BiPap. The team benefits from in-house intensivist coverage during the day, with on-call overnight, and a charge nurse available.
• Additional Notes: Shifts are scheduled on a block basis with flexibility based on unit needs. All candidates must adhere to facility and unit-specific requirements and submission protocols.
