Job Title: Warehouse Associate Job Description

This role focuses on supporting warehouse operations across receiving, scanning, inventory control, packing, and shipping. You will unload and sort equipment, accurately scan and record product information, and prepare items for outbound shipment while following clear work instructions and safety standards. The position requires consistent attention to detail, adherence to production targets, and maintaining a clean and organized workstation within a climate-controlled facility.

• Unload trailers using pallet jacks or carts in a safe and efficient manner.
• Sort incoming equipment such as modems, routers, and cable boxes into designated areas.
• Scan barcodes using handheld RF scanners to track products and inventory movement.
• Accurately log product serial numbers and inventory data in the system.
• Perform inventory control tasks, including cycle counts and warehouse inventory checks.
• Pack tested products into boxes using appropriate materials to protect items during transit.
• Label packages correctly for outbound shipping according to shipping requirements.
• Follow detailed work instructions and meet established production targets.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of your workstation and surrounding areas.
• Handle materials safely and efficiently, including loading, picking, and order picking tasks.
• Comply with all safety standards, security procedures, and company policies.
• Stand for the full duration of the shift and complete tasks that require continuous physical activity.

• Previous warehouse experience in shipping, receiving, picking, packing, or packaging.
• Proficiency using RF scanners for barcode scanning and inventory tracking.
• Basic computer skills to support data entry and inventory control tasks.
• Experience with material handling, including pallet jack operation.
• Ability to perform order picking and warehouse inventory activities.
• Attention to detail when logging serial numbers and labeling outbound shipments.
• Capability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks safely.
• Comfort working under established production targets while maintaining accuracy.

• Experience with inventory control processes, including cycle counts and warehouse inventory management.
• Familiarity with shipping and receiving procedures in a distribution or warehouse environment.
• Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions consistently.
• Strong organizational skills to maintain a clean and orderly workstation.
• Willingness to adhere to strict security policies and facility rules.

The work takes place in a climate-controlled, very clean, and well-organized warehouse facility. You will stand for the entire shift, as there are no sit-down positions, and perform hands-on tasks throughout the day. The company maintains a strict security policy, including a "No Beep Policy" for metal detectors, so you cannot wear items that trigger alarms and must be comfortable being away from your cell phone for many hours. The environment emphasizes safety, orderliness, and an engaging culture with regular onsite events such as cookouts, team lunches, and giveaways.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charlestown, IN.

The pay range for this position is $16.36 - $18.81/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Charlestown,IN.
