Superior Skilled Trades (SST) is seeking experienced Commercial Electricians and Lead Electricians for an immediate start on a 6–12 month commercial project .

The project will start in Monroe, NC, and then transition to other jobsites in the Charlotte, NC area. Electricians must be available and willing to move between jobsites as needed throughout the project.

This is a long-term opportunity offering steady work and the potential for 40–60 hours per week .

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $26–$35/hour, (based on position and experience)
• Higher Pay: Candidates with 10+ years of commercial and lead electrician experience qualify for the higher end of the pay range
• Hours: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Schedule: 40–60 hours per week
• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: 6–12 months
• Job Location: Project starts in Monroe, NC , then transitions to other jobsites in the Charlotte, NC area
• Jobsite Flexibility: Must be available and willing to move between jobsites as needed throughout the project

Job Responsibilities

As a Commercial Electrician, you will:

• Bend, install, and run EMT conduit
• Pull wire and install electrical systems
• Perform demolition and electrical rough-in work
• Install light fixtures, devices, and electrical equipment
• Wire and terminate electrical panels
• Troubleshoot electrical systems
• Read and work from blueprints and electrical drawings
• Maintain a safe and productive work environment

Qualifications

• Commercial electrical experience required
• Candidates with 10+ years of commercial and lead electrician experience qualify for the higher end of the pay range
• Strong experience bending and installing EMT conduit
• Experience pulling wire and performing electrical rough-in work
• Experience with both rough-in and finish electrical work
• Ability to wire, terminate, and troubleshoot electrical panels and electrical systems
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical drawings is preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work from ladders and lifts as needed
• Must have all standard electrical hand tools
• Must properly use required PPE:
• • Steel-toe boots
  • Hard hat
  • Safety glasses
  • High-visibility safety vest
  • Work gloves

Additional Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the jobsite
• Must be available and willing to move between jobsites in Monroe and the Charlotte, NC area as needed
