Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

University Home Care Inc is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Livonia, MI. The LPN will provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to our patients in a home care setting, ensuring their comfort and well-being while promoting health and independence. Responsibilities

• Provide routine nursing care and health assessments to patients in their homes.
• Administer medications and injections as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient conditions and communicate any changes to the supervising healthcare team.
• Assist with wound care, catheter care, and other nursing procedures as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records and documentation.
• Educate patients and their families about health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.

Requirements

• Current and valid LPN license in the state of Michigan.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in nursing, preferably in home health care.
• Strong clinical and assessment skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Basic computer skills for electronic health records documentation.
