Emergency & ICU Veterinary Clinical Supervisor - Overnights

Emergency Veterinary Clinical Supervisor Proposed Schedule: 7 p.m.–7:30 a.m. Sunday, Monday, Tuesday Salary: $26.50–36.00 /hr based on experience. Join a fast‑paced emergency veterinary team where you’ll handle critical situations in a dynamic environment. What you’ll do Escalate issues to the Clinical Manager Function as a scheduled Clinical Services team member within the department(s) Collaborate with other departments regarding patient and client needs Prioritize and organize workflows for the shift Directly manage Clinical Services team members while on shift, including early call‑ins, early departures, call‑offs, sharing of resources, breaks and lunches Assign team member responsibilities per shift Address process or employee issues during the shift Communicate schedule changes, performance concerns, and shift issues to the Clinical Manager routinely Serve as the first‑level responder to client concerns and drug escalations Train and mentor new team members Provide input to the Clinical Manager on team member performance evaluations Participate in on‑call responsibilities Participate in management or administrative meetings routinely Who you are Strong communication skills Prior veterinary experience required; prior emergency experience desirable Proficiency in calculations (drugs, constant rate infusions, unit conversions, etc.) Flexibility with work hours and ability to work additional hours when necessary Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment Excellent verbal and written communication Perks and Benefits include Comprehensive health benefits Vision and dental coverage HSA, FSA, and independent care spending accounts 401(k) with employer match Paid time off (PTO) Shift differentials and on‑call pay Uniform allowance Employee pet discounts and pet insurance Elective short‑term disability, life, and accident insurance, and company‑paid long‑term disability Continuing education opportunities and assistance program Strong career growth and personal development opportunities MedVet is an equal‑opportunity employer.
