We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented School Cleaner to join our team in Lafayette, Indiana. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for students, teachers, and staff. Key Responsibilities Classroom & Office Care: Empty trash and recycling, dust surfaces, wipe down desks, and sanitize high-touch points. Floor Maintenance: Sweep, dust mop, damp mop, and vacuum floors in classrooms, hallways, and common areas. Restroom Sanitation: Thoroughly clean and disinfect restrooms, fixtures, mirrors, and replenish soap and paper supplies. Common Areas: Clean and sanitize cafeterias, breakrooms, and gym areas as needed. Security: Ensure facility doors and windows are securely locked at the end of the shift. Qualifications & Requirements Reliability: Proven track record of excellent attendance and punctuality. Attention to Detail: Ability to follow a cleaning checklist and maintain high standards of cleanliness. Independence: Capable of working efficiently with minimal direct supervision. Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30 lbs throughout a 6-hour shift. Background Check: Must be willing to undergo a standard background check required for working in a school facility.
