Pay:

• $20.00-$28.00/HR - weekly pay!

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday, 6:00am to 3:00pm - No weekends!

Job Duties:

• Diagnosed, repaired, and maintained gasoline and diesel-powered engines used in railroad maintenance equipment and support vehicles.
• Performed preventative maintenance including oil changes, filter replacements, fluid services, and scheduled inspections.
• Troubleshot and repaired hydraulic, electrical, fuel, cooling, and braking systems.
• Conducted engine, transmission, and drivetrain repairs to ensure equipment reliability and performance.
• Utilized diagnostic equipment and service manuals to identify mechanical and electrical issues.
• Repaired and maintained rail grinders, heater cars, power units, generators, and other specialized railroad maintenance equipment.
• Fabricated, welded, and modified components as needed to support equipment repairs and upgrades.
• Performed DOT inspections and maintained detailed service and repair records.
• Operated forklifts, overhead cranes, and shop equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assisted with field service repairs and emergency equipment breakdowns to minimize customer downtime.
• Maintained a safe work environment while adhering to company and industry safety standards.
