Foodservice Sales Representative

New Haven Provision Co. – New Haven, CT

Full-Time | Outside Sales | Base Salary + Commission

New Haven Provision Co. is a family-owned and operated foodservice distributor serving restaurants, delis, pizzerias, caterers, institutions, and other foodservice businesses throughout Connecticut and the surrounding area.

We are looking for a motivated, outgoing Foodservice Sales Representative to join our growing team. This is an opportunity for someone who knows how to build relationships, find new business, and turn customers into long-term accounts.

What You’ll Do

● Develop new restaurant and foodservice accounts

● Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers

● Make regular in-person sales calls to restaurants and businesses

● Identify customer needs and recommend products

● Present pricing, promotions, and new products

● Prepare quotes and follow up on leads

● Work closely with our office and delivery team to ensure excellent customer service

● Meet and exceed sales goals

● Manage your territory and develop new business opportunities

What We’re Looking For

● Previous foodservice, restaurant, wholesale, or outside sales experience preferred

● Existing relationships within the restaurant/foodservice industry are a major plus

● Strong communication and people skills

● Confident and comfortable making cold calls and walking into businesses

● Self-motivated and able to work independently

● Competitive and goal-oriented

● Professional appearance and attitude

● Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

● Strong organizational and follow-up skills

Industry experience is preferred, but we’re willing to train the right salesperson who has the drive and personality to succeed.
