Staff Process Engineer

Arconic is currently in search of a Staff Process Engineer to join our Hot Rolling Team based in our Davenport, IA location.As a Staff Process Engineer in Arconic’s Rolling Department, you will integrate process knowledge and hands-on problem-solving with data analysis by investigating process issues from a variety of sources including cameras, sensors, data historians, and observations from equipment operators and maintenance personnel. Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology to understand and diagnose processes.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex process issues.Office Computer skills, including a good working knowledge of Microsoft office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point).Statistical Analysis Tools (Ex: Minitab, Jmp).Proficient in collecting, cleaning, analyzing, and visualizing large datasets.Strong decision making and problem-solving skills.Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with individuals and teams at all levels of the organization.Good verbal and written communication skills.Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Authorizations from the relevant government agency may be required to meet export control compliance requirements.Exceptional Candidates also have (preferred):5+ years' experience in a Manufacturing EnvironmentStrong mechanical/electrical and process aptitude preferredWorking knowledge of Process Control Systems.Working knowledge Metals Rolling Technology preferred.
