Clinical Nurse Manager - Emergency Department

Hourly Pay Range $48.93 - $75.84 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Position Highlights Position: Clinical Nurse Manager, Emergency Department Location: Arlington Heights, IL Full Time/Part Time: Full time Hours: Monday-Friday Required Travel: Occasional travel may be required for meetings What you will do Lead and oversee Emergency Department operations, including planning, budgeting, staffing, and clinical functions. Manage daily department operations and ensure compliance with policies and procedures. Recruit, hire, coach, evaluate, discipline, and, when necessary, terminate staff. Oversee staff onboarding, education, and professional development. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure integrated, patient-centered care. Lead quality improvement initiatives focused on patient safety, care quality, and continuous improvement. Provide leadership support for related clinical units in the absence of another Clinical Manager. What you will need Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN required, MSN preferred. Current Illinois Registered Nursing license. Certification: Current BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association. Specialty certification: ECRN and TNS preferred, or commitment to obtain within two years of hire. CEN preferred. Experience: Minimum of three years management experience.
