Location: Solano and Napa Counties, California
Job Type: Full-time and Part-time positions available
Pay: $18- $20 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm. Overtime on Saturdays if needed.

Junk Shot of Solano-Napa is a locally owned and operated junk removal company serving residential, commercial, and multifamily customers throughout Solano and Napa Counties. We provide professional junk removal, apartment cleanouts, bulk-item removal, dumpster-area cleanup, and related services.

We are looking for a dependable, customer-focused Junk Removal Technician / Driver to join our growing team. This is an active, hands-on position for someone who takes pride in providing excellent service, working safely, and leaving each job site clean.

Job Summary

The Junk Removal Technician / Driver is responsible for safely removing, loading, transporting, and properly disposing of unwanted items from homes, businesses, apartment communities, and other properties. The ideal candidate is hardworking, professional, punctual, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

This position involves frequent lifting, carrying, bending, walking, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Arrive on time and prepared for scheduled appointments.
• Provide courteous, professional service to customers and property-management teams.
• Safely remove furniture, appliances, household items, construction debris, yard waste, and other approved materials.
• Load items carefully into company vehicles while protecting customer property and the surrounding area.
• Operate company vehicles safely and responsibly.
• Use proper lifting techniques and follow all company safety procedures.
• Sort materials for recycling, donation, disposal, or other approved processing.
• Sweep and clean work areas after each job.
• Take accurate job-site photographs and complete required service documentation.
• Communicate clearly with customers, dispatchers, supervisors, and team members.
• Maintain clean and organized vehicles, tools, and equipment.
• Report damaged items, unsafe conditions, vehicle concerns, or service issues promptly.
• Follow all company policies and applicable disposal, safety, and transportation requirements.
• Support apartment cleanouts, multifamily service visits, dumpster-area cleanups, and valet trash services as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to the assigned meeting location.
• Clean and responsible driving record.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds repeatedly.
• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to learn and use required software for scheduling and job reporting.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Ability to preform daily vehicle safety inspections and report issues immediately. 
• Willingness to work outdoors and in changing weather conditions.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in junk removal, moving, delivery, landscaping, construction, warehouse work, property maintenance, or a related field.
• Experience driving a pickup truck, box truck, trailer, or similar vehicle.
• Familiarity with recycling, donation, or responsible-disposal practices.
• Customer service experience.
• Ability to market and sell Junk Shot services.
• Experience working with apartment communities or property-management companies.
