Position Overview

We're looking for an energetic, organized, and motivated Staffing Specialist I to join our team. This is a dynamic role where no two days are the same. You'll recruit and interview candidates, match employees with job opportunities, build strong relationships with clients, and help grow the branch through exceptional customer service and business development.

Key Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview, and onboard qualified candidates for general labor and skilled trade positions.
• Match employees with client job orders based on skills, experience, and job requirements.
• Conduct new hire orientations and ensure completion of all required onboarding documents, including I-9s, W-4s, and safety acknowledgments.
• Dispatch employees to job sites and maintain communication to confirm arrival, attendance, and job performance throughout the day.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by building strong relationships with clients and employees while providing timely solutions to staffing needs.
• Support branch growth by identifying new business opportunities through cold calling, sales visits, networking, and lead generation.
• Maintain accurate records of all sales calls, emails, customer interactions, and field visits in the CRM to track activity, measure results, and ensure timely follow-up.
• Conduct regular client visits to strengthen partnerships, identify new staffing opportunities, and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Resolve client concerns and employee issues quickly, professionally, and with a solution-focused approach.
• Maintain accurate applicant and employee records while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Assist with payroll processing, timecard verification, and invoice support.
• Promote a safe work environment by enforcing safety procedures and ensuring employees are equipped with the proper PPE.

Qualifications

• One or more years of experience in staffing, recruiting, sales, customer service, human resources, or a related field preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable making outbound sales calls and developing new business relationships.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, with the ability to quickly learn new software systems.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends and flexibility based on client and business needs.
