Job Title: Food Production Food Prep Associates Pay: $16.50/hr Hours: Monday - Friday (Shifts run between 5am-6pm) Start Date: ASAP Looking for a career boost and steady work? You'll work closely with the Production Supervisor to ensure all product is being processed correctly and efficiently. What You'll Do As a Food Production Food Prep Associates, you will be responsible for:

• Ingredient Weigher: Appropriately and safely handles incoming and outgoing containers of ingredients Understands and actively follows GMP and safety rules. Inspects all barrels, cans, boxes and other containers of ingredients to ensure that they are properly labeled and show no signs of damage. Properly prepares unused ingredients to return to storage. Maintains cleanliness of equipment room, Pre-op room and working area. Properly uses the floor scale and other scales to apportion for each batch the correct weight of each ingredient according to the recipe. Uses only clean and sanitized bins for the weighing of ingredients. Prepares frozen and canned and meat product ingredients.
• Cook: Mixes and cooks the sauces(s). Obtains formulation(s) for the day's production run(s). Accurately calculates specified amounts of ingredients converting formulations to specified amounts for specific batch sizes. Weighs ingredients. Operates Ribbon Blender, Blentherm and/or Kettle. Coordinates the preparation of sauce and ribbon blend for production.
