Endoscopy Nurse - 20 hrs Faulkner

Job Summary Title: Endoscopy Registered Nurse – 20 hours per week (10‑hour shifts). The nurse coordinates all aspects of nursing care before, during, and after procedures and collaborates with all disciplines to achieve defined patient outcomes. The role includes caring for patients in the procedure rooms and providing intravenous conscious sedation. Responsibilities The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for planning and providing patient care in accordance with the Nursing Standards of Care and the Nursing Department's Clinical Practice Manual. The nurse demonstrates initiative, knowledge, and clinical skills and effectively manages patients by assuming full responsibility for assessment, plan, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. The nurse directly reports to a designated nurse manager or supervisor and assures practice of the Patient and Family Centered Care Model. Qualifications BSN required Massachusetts Registered Nurse Licensure required BLS and ACLS Certification for Healthcare Providers required Previous gastroenterology nursing experience strongly preferred Previous procedural/ambulatory nursing experience strongly preferred Good interpersonal and communication skills Demonstrated basic analytic thinking to care for a group of patients Observational skills and ability to set priorities Adherence to all I.C.A.R.E. standards Schedule and Location Scheduled Weekly Hours: 20 (10‑hour shifts) Work Shift: Rotating (United States of America) Work Location: 1153 Centre Street, Jamaica Plain, MA (Onsite) Employee Type: Regular Grade: RN3500 Pay Range $41.36 – $100.00 per hour (depending on qualifications and experience).
