Seasonal/Temporary Team Lead, Operations-Days (FHD)

Location: USA - Malta, 6 Stone Break Road Division: Solutions Seasonal/Temporary Team Lead, Operations-Days (FHD/BHD) Position Summary: The Team Lead has general responsibility for coordinating and overseeing all operational activities within the assigned area, supporting daily warehouse functions under the direction of the Operations Supervisor. The role ensures associates in receiving, shipping, and handling operations meet company service and cost objectives while maintaining safety, quality, and compliance standards. Responsibilities Mentor and train new and existing associates on distribution activities to meet customer demands. Train associates on Standard Operating Procedures covering shipping, receiving, picking, and quality control. Assist with forklift operation and certification for associates. Oversee unloading of inbound shipments, stacking, picking, and staging of outbound shipments per SOP. Efficiently and accurately load orders onto appropriate doors and trailers. Review shipping and receiving paperwork, verify counts, and research discrepancies. Maintain professional appearance and communication in all customer interactions. Prepare accurate activity reports for site management. Use documentation to verify product and order accuracy, report damages or discrepancies, and perform packaging, shrinking, and labeling tasks. Participate in quality and safety meetings. Execute all safety protocols and maintain a clean, orderly warehouse environment. Assist in security of the warehouse and assist temporary labor with productivity sheets and payroll hours. Establish and maintain work schedules, assign jobs, and ensure timely completion. Operate a range of equipment including sit‑down, stand‑up, reach trucks, sweeper scrubbers, scissor lifts, cherry pickers, AisleMaster, and pallet jacks. Inspect equipment daily and perform minor maintenance, reporting issues as needed. Maintain active forklift certification. Perform or assist with building, grounds, and equipment maintenance. Carry out clerical tasks such as answering phones, scheduling, filing, and record keeping. Work evenings, weekends, and overtime as required by business needs. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Minimum of one year experience in logistics, distribution, or a related environment. Ability to operate material handling equipment. Ability to work in unregulated warehouse temperatures ranging from mild to moderate. Completion of a satisfactory forklift training program. Preferred Qualifications 2–4 years experience in a warehouse or logistics environment. 2–4 years proven forklift experience. Current or prior MHE certification. Physical Demands Occasionally handling product and packaging materials. Frequently bending; constantly walking and standing. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 21–50 pounds. Reach above shoulder, reach outward, squat, or kneel as needed. Compensation and Benefits Base pay: $27.00 hourly. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, education, certifications, and location in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
