Full-Stack Engineer OpportunityParakeet is the AI-powered risk & compliance platform built for industrial enterprises. Our agent-driven workflows cut third-party verification and risk-management costs by up to 50%, unifying data from devices, vendors, and internal systems into a single source of truth.The RoleWe're expanding our core engineering team with a pragmatic full-stack engineer who can ship production-ready features end-to-end. You'll own services across the stack—from REST/GraphQL APIs to responsive front-end components—and help scale a platform processing millions of risk events per day.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and maintain backend services in Node.js (TypeScript) and PythonModel and optimize relational data in PostgreSQL; write efficient, migration-safe SQLIntegrate and tune QStash/Upstash queues for event-driven workloads and background jobsDeploy, secure, and monitor workloads on Cloudflare Workers/Durable Objects, Pages, and R2Build modern, testable UI components (React + TypeScript) that surface complex compliance data simplyCollaborate with product, design, and data teams to translate requirements into shippable codeWrite unit, integration, and end-to-end tests; enforce CI/CD and code-review best practicesProfile, debug, and harden systems for security, performance, and reliability in regulated environmentsMinimum Qualifications3+ years professional experience building and operating production web servicesProficiency with Node.js and at least one Python web framework (FastAPI, Flask, Django, etc.)Solid grasp of SQL, database schema design, and query optimization on PostgreSQLExperience with message queues, pub/sub, or event streams (e.g., QStash, Kafka, RabbitMQ)Familiarity with edge-compute or serverless platforms (Cloudflare, AWS Lambda, Vercel, etc.)Comfortable with modern front-end frameworks (React a plus) and TypeScriptTrack record of shipping features in an agile environment with code reviews and automated testingEnglish proficiency at B2 level or higher (CEFR)Nice to HaveExposure to compliance, fintech, or industrial IoT data pipelinesKnowledge of AI/LLM integration patterns or vector search (e.g., pgvector)Security-first mindset (OWASP, secure SDLC) and experience with SOC 2 or ISO 27001 controlsWhy ParakeetMission-driven team tackling a multibillion-dollar pain point in risk & complianceGreen-field engineering challenges at scale—edge compute, real-time analytics, and AI agentsCompetitive salary, meaningful equity, health benefits, and remote-first cultureAutonomy to shape architecture, processes, and ultimately the direction of the product
