Care Assistant - Nightshift

Madeira Lodge is currently looking for a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our nightshift team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for providing person‑centred care and support tailored to each resident’s individual needs. It’s a role that’s all about empowering others to lead a fulfilling and meaningful life, and is particularly well suited to those with a passion for supporting others. Key Responsibilities: Supporting residents to attend appointments and engage in community activities. Administering medication and maintaining accurate records. Providing nutritional support, which includes meal preparation. Undertaking household duties to ensure a clean and comfortable living environment. Assisting residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, oral care, and toileting. Helping residents with mobility issues, using aids like hoists and standing aids as necessary. Providing companionship, thereby enhancing the emotional well‑being of residents. Safeguarding residents and ensuring their overall well‑being.
