Position Description Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Phoenix, AZ. This role offers weekly pay, comprehensive benefits, and a rewarding driving career. Benefits Weekly pay for driver positions Solo Miles Pay: $0.52 per mile (500‑800 miles per week) Solo Stops Pay: $25.00 per stop (30‑40 stops per week) Average 50 hours per week Paid training Schedule Monday‑Friday, start time 5:00 AM Medical, dental, and vision coverage after 30 days 80 hours paid time off in first year (use it or get paid for it) Uniforms, cell phone, and boot allowance provided 401(k) rollover available with company match after 1 year 12 weeks paid maternity leave (eligible by tenure) Employee discounts on tools, vehicles, travel, and technology Qualifications Minimum 21 years of age Pass a Ryder drug test Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years Pass a DOT physical Pass a Ryder road test Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements; must have Class A experience in tractor‑trailer or comparable vehicle Experience: 9 months within past 3 years OR 2 years within last 5 years OR 5 years within last 10 years Ability to follow written and oral instructions Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain accurate records and logs Responsibilities Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards, and guidelines Detect, eliminate, or minimize safety hazards Maintain accurate records and logs Load or unload freight or assist in loading/unloading if required by customer Perform other duties as assigned Equal Opportunity Employer Ryder is a proud equal opportunity employer.
