Job Details Employment Type: Travel Schedule: Part-time nights, 2-3 shifts per week, every other weekend, holiday availability required Shift Duration: 8-hour night shift (11:00 PM - 7:30 AM) Contract Length: 22 weeks Start Date: September 15, 2026 Location: Penn Yan, NY 14527 Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,000 - $2,100 Registered Nurse Supervisor Job Requirements Current New York State RN licensure Minimum 1 year of nursing experience in long-term care or skilled nursing Supervisory experience across multiple units required Graduate of an accredited School of Registered Professional Nursing BSN preferred BLS certification through AHA or RQI required during clinical orientation CPI certification within 90 days of hire Familiarity with NYSDOH requirements Strong leadership, communication, organizational, analytical, and computer skills Ability to work professionally in stressful situations and manage multiple priorities Ability to safely perform duties with potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens Responsibilities Oversee the operation of nursing units under the direction of the Director of Nursing Provide clinical supervision and support to staff assigned to various nursing units Promote quality resident care through coaching, teaching, and ongoing staff support Communicate unit concerns and collaborate on effective problem resolution Make sound administrative decisions in the absence of leadership on off-shifts and weekends Partner with medical staff, department managers, ancillary services, and customers in a professional and courteous manner Support a safe, respectful, and patient-centered care environment Model teamwork, professionalism, and effective leadership across the facility Why Join This Healthcare Team?
