YOU WILL BE The Restaurant Dishwasher focuses on keeping the overall restaurant clean to ensure guests receive the high standards of food and beverage service set by Neiman Marcus. WHAT YOU WILL DO Primarily focus on keeping the dish, trash, and floors areas clean and organized to the highest level of Health and Kitchen standard. Maintain the dish machine by: Checking for chemicals in dish machine to ensure they are filled and ready. Understanding how to use dish machine. Reporting any malfunctions to the Restaurant Manager or Executive Chef. Keeping chemical testers on hand. Knowing how to use all sanitizing materials used for cleaning. Checks trash periodically and removes if full. Organizes dish area with all solutions for pots, pans, sinks, and silver. Maintains a pace for washing all pots, pans, dishes, flatware, and glassware. Exercises caution when working with breakables (e.g., dishes and glassware). Keeps floors clean from spills, grease, and general trash. Assists with preparation and additional cleaning throughout kitchen as needed. Maintains a professional relationship with all line cooks, coworkers, chef, and front‑of‑the‑house staff. Upholds all Health and Sanitation standards as directed by Neiman Marcus, local Health Department, and 3rd party Sanitation auditors. WHAT YOU WILL BRING Ability to work autonomously. Motivated and results‑driven. 'Win together' mentality. Role requires standing, bending, climbing stairs, and lifting and carrying up to 35 pounds. Associates must be based on business needs, which will include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
